Welcome to Pilates with Meghan.

I love living in Blackhorse Road, and have taught Pilates here for over ten years; some of my current students have been with me since my very first class, which is quite incredible.

I am a qualified Level 3 Pilates matwork teacher; having completed three years of intensive training with Body Control Pilates. I am also fully qualified to teach pre- and post-natal Pilates.

I discovered Pilates over fifteen years ago and instantly loved the way it made me feel, both physically and mentally.  What I love most about Pilates is the contrast between the subtlety of the movements and the challenge of stabilising the body whilst you move.

Pilates also stills my mind and lets me focus purely on my body; concentrating on which parts I’m moving and which parts i’m trying to keep still.

I teach group classes and 1-to-1 sessions, always aiming to make Pilates approachable and empowering for everyone.

My classes are dynamic, focussing on flowing movement and correct alignment; which are the fundamentals of Pilates.  I am mindful that every person is unique, both in how they learn and what their body can do, and my teaching style reflects this.  I want my Clients to leave class feeling energised, more mobile, stronger and ultimately more connected to their body.

Community and inclusion are at the heart of my classes, everybody is welcome.
