Pre & Post Natal Pilates

Growing a tiny human is tough on your body…

I practiced Pilates throughout both of my pregnancies; Pilates helped me to prepare my body for labour and get my body ‘back’ once I was a mum.

Prenatal

During pregnancy your body does incredible things, all of which are gearing up for the arrival of your baby, but at times these changes can leave you feeling uncomfortable; Pilates can help you gain better posture as well as strengthening your pelvic-floor and combatting lower back pain.

Postnatal

After having a baby your body can feel very different. Our pelvic-floor has been used as a trampoline for the past nine months and bones have literally moved to make way for our baby (this still amazes me!). Pilates can help strengthen your body and make you feel more like you again.
